Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Steady (the "Service"), operated by Raleway Ventures LLC ("Steady", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Account

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use Steady. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and for all activity under your account.

2. The Service

Steady provides personal finance tools for tracking income, expenses, subscriptions, and debt payoff plans. Features may change over time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
  • infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
  • interfere with security, probe, scan, scrape, or attempt to bypass technical limits;
  • upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service.

4. Intellectual Property

Raleway Ventures LLC and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

5. Payment & Subscriptions — Paddle as Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You can cancel any time from your Steady settings or via the link on your receipt.

6. Free Trials

We may offer a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and your payment method will be charged the applicable fee.

7. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Steady is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Raleway Ventures LLC's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Raleway Ventures LLC from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue lie in the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
